Specialised Orthopaedic Surgery since 2014

Since 2014, the specialist physicians at Activemotion Orthopaedic Surgery have assessed and treated patients with disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Our work includes conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, hip, hand, foot and spine.

Our goal is always to ensure a thorough medical evaluation and to offer the treatment that best suits the individual patient. In many cases, symptoms can be treated conservatively through advice, physiotherapy or other non-surgical approaches. When surgery is the best solution, we assist the patient in proceeding to surgical treatment.

When surgery is indicated, procedures are performed with short waiting times at private hospitals in the Copenhagen region of Denmark. The operations are carried out by experienced orthopaedic surgeons in modern facilities with a strong focus on patient safety and quality throughout the treatment process.

Treatment is provided in accordance with the EU Patient Mobility Directive, which allows patients to receive planned healthcare in another EU country. For patients covered by the Swedish national health insurance system, surgery can therefore be financed by the Swedish public healthcare system via Försäkringskassan.

Activemotion also assists with all necessary communication and administrative procedures with Försäkringskassan, making the process as simple and secure as possible for the patient. For patients covered by this arrangement, the only costs normally incurred are travel expenses and patient fees according to the applicable price list.
