ACTIVEMOTION has, since 2014, worked to help Swedish patients with orthopaedic conditions receive treatment in Denmark through the use of the EU Patient Mobility Directive 2011/24/EU on cross-border healthcare.
The implementation of the directive through administrative support, as well as facilitating the financing of patients who choose to make use of the directive, is a central part of ACTIVEMOTION’s activities.
